THE FOLLOWING SERVICES WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE ACCOMMODATION STRUCTURES INVOLVED IN THE PROJECT:

A) BIKE DEPOSIT/SHELTER:

This may be a closed and covered area used as a bike deposit/shelter or an open though protected area, where bicycles can be equipped with and protected by padlocks.

An essential requisite is safety, so access to these areas is reserved to clients only.

B) BIKE WORKSHOP AND/OR SUPPLY OF TOOLS FOR BIKE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR

 

The bike workshop may be located in the same area as the deposit, provided the room is sufficiently spacious. Alternatively, the client will be given a tool box to carry out all ordinary bike repairs. A set of tools, including adjustable spanners with different sizes, will be available (8 - 12 - 15 – 17 spanners are essential), as well as a spanner with variable sizing, other than a set of Allen keys, x-shaped and flat blade screwdrivers and tongs.

The client will also find a vertical pump, a spoke wrench, a chain breaker, chain lubricants, degreasers, a small basin and a brush for cleaning, and a puncture kit made up of levers to remove tyres, glue, sandpaper and patches.

C) BIKE WASHING:

 To wash bicycles, water, buckets, sponges, a degreasing detergent and drying cloths will be provided.

D) ADEQUATE RESTAURANT SERVICES

 

At accommodation structures offering meals and beverages, guests will find menus which use high-quality products, moist of which will be of local origin.

Fruit, chianina meat, cheese, salami, honey, wine and, in particular, extra virgin oil offered according to Tuscan typical traditions are an essential part of all menus.
